Public Safety & Touch-a-Truck Area

Don't miss the Public Safety Area at Wheels on Academy! The celebration is featured as an area at Wheels on Academy. Come meet Police and Fire crews, watch K9 demos, and learn about our safety initiatives. Touch-a-Truck is a fun, interactive, family-friendly area at Wheels on Academy that allows children and adults to see, touch, and safely explore their favorite trucks and heavy machinery. Join us for a glimpse into the inner workings of awe-inspiring vehicles and machinery and the vital tasks they perform.

This year will feature a "No Horn Hour" in the Touch-a-Truck Area from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. for guests with sensitive hearing. Little ones with sensitivities to loud noises are encouraged to visit during this time to experience everything in a comfortable environment.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking will be available at the Cary Arts Center (101 Dry Ave). The lot can be accessed from Dry Avenue or Faculty Street.
