The Logistics Division of The Cary Fire Department is responsible for the procurement and maintenance of all capital assets for the department. This includes all fire stations, firefighting apparatus and equipment, department vehicles, and technology assets.

Current Projects:


  • Currently the Cary Fire Department has two Pierce fire apparatus on order. A Pierce fire engine is in production with an estimated arrival of March 2017.  The engine will replace Engine 9, a 2003 Pierce Engine.  A Pierce 105' aerial ladder will begin production in the summer of 2017 with an approximate delivery of November 2017. The aerial ladder is for a new company which will be located in west Cary.

Fire Stations

  • Cary Fire Station 9 relocation is in process.  Planning and Design began in Fall of 2016 and will continue through the Spring of 2018.  Construction will begin in the summer of 2018. Please see the project details for further information.
