Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

From 2012 to 2014 the Town conducted a two-year electric vehicle charging station pilot to evaluate three kinds of charging stations on Town property. The results of this pilot are summarized by a report by Advanced Energy. On November 20, 2014 Council approved continuing the free public electric vehicle charging for a two year period. The Town of Cary has been recognized for its efforts to support electric vehicles with a Plug-in NC Membership.
