Cary Arts Center (101 Dry Avenue)
Join the Town of Cary and the Jewish community to celebrate the holiday of Pesach (or Passover) at the Jewish Cultural Festival. Learn about Moses, maror, and matzah, and hear presentations on Jewish history, culture, and practice given by local rabbis. Children will enjoy a craft, making unleavened bread in the “Matzah Factory” and singing along with kids entertainer Joanie Leeds. The whole family will enjoy the music of local band Lost Nomads and delicious Jewish and non-Jewish foods available from local vendors. Donations of gift cards will be accepted to support the food assistance program of Jewish Family Services. A great event for the whole family. Parking is available at Cary Elementary School, adjacent to Cary Arts Center.
Presented by the Town of Cary, Chabad of Cary, Beth Shalom, the Raleigh-Cary Jewish Community Center, and the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary.
