Dancers in Blue and Yellow at Cary Diwali

Diwali is the most widely-celebrated religious and cultural event in India, and marks the victory of good over evil, light over dark, and the beginning of the New Year. Also known as The Festival of Lights, Diwali encourages artistic expression through vibrant performances, unique exhibits, and colorful decorations.

The 17th annual Cary Diwali celebrates Anubhuti: A Sensory Experience, and will include music, dance, and theater performances, a handicraft bazaar, Indian food vendors, sponsor booths, an exhibition of Indian art and culture, activities for children, yoga demonstrations, and so much more! The event is capped off by a fireworks show over Symphony Lake at 8:30 p.m.
