Summer 2008 Update
Drainage improvements along with new concrete walkways were installed this spring. A new lawn area adjacent to the Rotary shelter is currently under construction and will be completed later this summer. This fall/winter additional plantings will be added to the park to complete the renovation work.
Directions: 301 Lochmere Drive
West.
From the North or South take Kildaire Farm Road to Lochmere Drive West and the park will be on the left.
From the East take Tryon Road west turn left onto Kildaire Farm Road, turn right onto Lochmere Drive West and the park will be on the left.
From the West take Hwy. 64 to Tryon Road, turn right onto Kildaire Farm Road, turn right onto Lochmere Drive West and the park will be on the left.
Park Hours of Operation:
Sunrise to Sunset. In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 11:00pm.
