Winter/Spring 2008 Update
Renovation work will continue in the park this winter. New concrete walkways will be installed in the park to replace the existing gravel walkways. A lawn area will be created adjacent to the Rotary shelter. This work is scheduled to begin at the end of January and be complete by end of April.
Directions: 301 Lochmere Drive
West.
From the North or South take Kildaire Farm Road to Lochmere Drive West and the park will be on the left.
From the East take Tryon Road west turn left onto Kildaire Farm Road, turn right onto Lochmere Drive West and the park will be on the left.
From the West take Hwy. 64 to Tryon Road, turn right onto Kildaire Farm Road, turn right onto Lochmere Drive West and the park will be on the left.
Park Hours of Operation:
Sunrise to Sunset. In lighted areas where visitors are participating in an approved extended use activity, hours are extended until 30 minutes after the completion of the activity or 11:00pm.
