Spring Skate Contest
Saturday, April 19, 2008 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

Big air rules when skaters rip some daredevil moves at this contest! Spectators are free and welcome.  Beginners get two, 1-minute runs each. Intermediates get two, 1.5-minute runs each. Experts are grouped into four with 6-minute jam sessions per group for Round 1. In Round 2, the best five experts from Round 1 head off in a final Jam to determine winner. Best Trick (must enter a main event to enter best trick) is one big Jam Fest! Register at Sk8-Cary on or before April 4; a late fee will be applied to registrations on the day of the event. Sign-in from 10-11a.m. The contest starts at 11 a.m.

Spring BMX Contest
Sunday, April 20, 2008 noon-8 p.m.

Bust out your best moves but don’t hit the pavement at Sk8-Cary’s BMX contest. Spectators are free and welcome!  Pedal fast, because you only have limited time to rip your best tricks! Beginners get two, 1-minute runs each. Intermediates get two, 1.5-minute runs each. Experts are in groups of four, with 6 minute jam sessions per group for Round 1.
