Evaluations
46 of the 66 participants returned evaluations for the program.
Marketing - Teen Scene was the most popular method of finding out about the event.
Scheduling - Time frame for the event is good.
Sessions - The keynote speaker received very positive feedback.  The participants would prefer that the break out sessions be more interactive.
Lunch - Participants would like activities during the lunch break.

Marketing
The event was advertised in the
Cary Parks , Recreation and Cultural Resources program brochure, the Teen Scene publication, the Town website and two articles in the Cary News. Posters and flyers were also distributed to the local schools.  Marketing suggestions for next year included contacting local schools to send "teams" of students to the event and have an attendance competition between local schools. Sponsors could be solicited to help pay the registration fees for the school teams. It was also suggested that the committee work with the schools to allow participants to receive service hours credit for attending the event. It was also suggested that the event be marketed through school groups and clubs such as student council, etc. and special invitations should be sent to these groups.  Staff suggested that the committee establish a marketing plan for next year and work with the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources marketing specialist to implement that plan.

Sponsorships
Thank you letters should be sent to all sponsors.  Courtney and Cindi will work together to draft a letter and send it out. The committee will also run a "thank you" ad to sponsors in the Cary News. It was suggested that the sponsorship committee start soliciting sponsors in December for next year's event.
