Development Review

Seimans Medical Expansion (08-SP-016) The Committee reviewed this project for a potential greenway easement.  Doug McRainey explained that there was a existing trail paralleling this project but that it was in close proximity to the stream.  Staff was requesting only easement where the buffer intersected with the Seimans property.  There was discussion on getting the applicant to construct the easement.  There were also cometns made regarding the width of the trail.  One committee member requested that a 12’ wide be constructed.  Doug McRainey indicated that staff could only ask for an easement and that the 12’ width was not a town of Cary standard.

Action: Bruce Spader made a motion to accept staff’s recommendation but to try to get as much easement as possible.  The motion carried by a unanimous vote.
