A.         Call to Order – Denny Hoadley, Chair

            The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

 

B.         Roll Call

·         Absent

David Lindquist; Paul Wasylkevych; Andrew Shears, Teen Council Representative

 

·         Report from chair

§         During the discussion and vote on Cultural Non-Profit Funding, the following members requested to be recused during the discussion of groups with which they are affiliated.

Hum-Sub – Mamta Bisarya and Gyan Gupta

Triangle Philharmonic – Kay Struffolino

Fine Arts League – Michael McDade

Concert Singers – Gary Lew and Ginny Trautman

 

ACTION:  Philip Shepard made a motion to accept the rescued list above.  Gyan Gupta seconded.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

C.         Adoption of Agenda

ACTION:  Kay Struffolino made a motion to accept the agenda.  Philip Shepard seconded.  The motion passed unanimously.

 

D.         Adoption of Minutes

·         February 20, 2007

 

ACTION:  Kay Struffolino made a motion to accept the February 20, 2007 minutes.  Ginny Trautman seconded.  The motion passed unanimously.

F.         Liaison Reports

·         Festival Committee Report – Kay Struffolino

§         The Sister Cities Association proposal for a beer garden at Lazy Daze went before Town Council on the consent agenda and was approved.

 

·            Amphitheatre Advisory Committee Report

§         Continuing to work on the schedule

§         The first event will be the Cary Road Race on April 14, 2007.
