Films @ The Cary: Beyond Silent! The General (1926) with Free Planet Radio
The Cary Theater, 7 p.m.
Buster Keaton’s silent classic is brought to life in a whole new way with a newly commissioned score performed by North Carolina’s Free Planet Radio. The band will perform an additional set after the movie. Marvelous Music Family Series: Paperhand Puppet Intervention

Fabricating fantastical worlds with the most ordinary of materials, Paperhand Puppet Intervention has been wowing audiences for over 15 years. Public Safety Day
Chatham at Academy Streets, 12-3 p.m.  
In the name of safety and community unity, the Town of Cary will fill the streets of downtown Cary with free fun. Join police, fire and emergency personnel to learn about the Town’s various safety initiatives and watch K9 demonstrations. Food trucks and a children’s play area complete the event. North Carolina Courage Vs. Chicago Red Stars
