Friday, April 7

Cary Players presents The Mousetrap
Cary Arts Center, 7:30 p.m.
The Cary Players season wraps up in the spring with the classic Agatha Christie murder mystery The Mousetrap. Guess along with the characters on stage as director Tim Wiest conceals, misdirects and confuses until the very end! For more, visit caryplayers.org.

Films @ The Cary: Science on Screen: Jurassic Park
The Cary Theater, 7 p.m.
Our guest speaker for this event will be Elena Schroeter, PhD, a postdoctoral researcher with NCSU's Biological Sciences Department. Recently, Dr. Schroeter was part of a team from NCSU that used a technique to dissolve dinosaur bones while preserving ancient collagen and other proteins within them. Their ground-breaking discoveries overturned a centuries-old belief among paleontologists that those types of tissues can’t survive millions of years of fossilization. Cary Road Race *NR*

Easter Egg Hunt *NR*
Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 10 a.m.
