Cary, NC – Get your tickets for Cary’s back-to-back Marvelous Music weekend performances February 17 and 18. Canadian singer, composer and entertainer Ken Lavigne performs February 17 at 7:30 p.m. and the Charlotte Children’s Theater arrives in town to entertain with its Commedia Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs February 18 at 3 p.m. Both shows are at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave.

Ken Lavigne has the distinction of having performed for his Majesty Prince Charles last fall; today he’s more often found singing with multi-Grammy winner David Foster or accompanying orchestras and symphonies across the globe. Joined by a four-piece ensemble for his Cary performance, this classic tenor will mix things up with a modern style.

Commedia Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ rambunctious group of travelling actors add a twist to the Brothers Grimm’s famous fairytale by the same name. This modern take on the classic includes slapstick comedy, audience participation and other surprise twists.

For the February 17 show, tickets are $26 for adults, $24 for seniors age 55 and up, or $88 for the Friends & Family 4-Pack (four people in a group at any age). For February 18 performance, tickets are $8 each. Purchase tickets:

  • In person at the Cary Arts Center, Monday, 4-8 p.m. or at The Cary Theater Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. or Saturday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Anytime online at www.etix.com
  • Through the eTix Phone Center, 1 (800) 514-3849, Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m. or Sunday, 12–8 p.m.
